Kindle for SLAPSTICK DIVAS

PostThu Aug 31, 2017 10:51 am

If you don't like to lug around books (and this one's a bit of a heft) SLAPSTICK DIVAS is now available on Kindle:

Just for the record, Steve, the book's worth the lug...but thanks!

Thanks, Steve! Time for a break from Cicero.

Hi Ed - haven't seen the Kindle version of DIVAS yet. In the Kindle of LAME BRAINS AND LUNATICS the images looked fine, but they all came at the end of each chapter instead of where I laid them out in the text. I imagine DIVAS is probably the same, which diminishes the effectiveness of the photos a bit.

BTW, looking forward to getting your Davies book.

My designer said NO to kindle since all her work would be lost. She said all the pictures would simply pile up after the text with little or no control and that captions might get scrambled. I might still look into it at some point.

I've just finished the first chapter. So far, all the pictures look like they're in the right place.

The pictures turned out wonderfully, too, Ed. A lot of times now in the modern printing world the photographs are so smeary or vague or faded or what-not that they're not even pleasant to look at. Yours are sharp as can be. I'm very pleased by that.
