Harold Lloyd, Jobyna Ralston, Brooks Benedict
Filled with the hilarious scenes and gags, this is one of the top comedies from one of the silent era's greatest comedians. Harold Lamb is determined to do whatever it takes to become the most popular student at Tate University, but finds himself the target of practical jokes and ridicule until his one true friend helps him refocus on what's truly important.

Show Tunes
Now celebrating his 26th CAPA Summer Movie Series, Clark Wilson, official organist for the CAPA Summer Movie Series, will once again provide pre-show and intermission entertainment at the keys of the Ohio Theatre’s “Mighty Morton” theatre organ 30 minutes prior to each screening. Organist David Fleisher will also provide live organ accompaniment at select movie screenings.

The CAPA Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, celebrates its 47th anniversary in 2017 with an impressive assembly of classics, cult favorites, and beloved films. The 2017 series, made possible through the generous support of PVS Chemicals, will run June 16–August 6 at the historic Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.) and will feature 25 films over eight weeks.

The show was a great success! The home movies were wonderful and varied. There were early color shots, and a few early sound bits. It was fun to see Mildred as she got older and settled into wife/motherhood and we got to see Harold and Mildred's parents who also seemed to have good senses of humor. There was also quite a bit of footage that showed Harold Lloyd's missing fingers on his hand.

Suzanne Lloyd announced that one of her grandfather's missing films had recently been found. A Mixup for Mazie (1915) will be transported to UCLA and restoration will begin shortly.
