A program of adventurous music from the early twentieth century. Milhaud’s The Creation of the World, a masterpiece, spotlights the orchestra’s accomplished winds and percussion, and Ives will have you contemplating the meaning of, well, everything. After intermission, renowned film composer Brian Satterwhite will inspire you as the orchestra brings to life his original score for A Sailor-Made Man starring Harold Lloyd.
