COLLEGE
1927 • Buster Keaton
One of the great comedians of the silent era, Buster Keaton is in rare form in College. He plays a bookish college student who tries to become an athlete to reconcile with his girlfriend, but it turns out to be harder than he thought. Keaton’s own athletic prowess allows him to pull off some impressive gags, and the film leaves you with a sweet ending, Keaton-style.
