"Tales of Tomorrow" VHS Tapes

PostSat Jul 15, 2017 7:30 am

This early, and mostly forgotten, series ran from 1951 to 1953 in 85 episodes. All were kinescoped but only half have been transferred to DVD, the rest hopefully existing on VHS tapes. I will pay a reasonable amount for any of these.

(I assume you're aware of the radio series as well?)

Hi and thanks for the replies. The list above is of the "missing" episodes, the ones I need to locate. As I said, the so-called "complete" episodes on DVD's available everywhere include only one half of those originally broadcast. The missing episodes are on vhs tapes . . . attics, basements, who knows where. And, yes, I'm aware of the radio episodes, but the ones I watched as a kid are those shown on television, and these are the ones I'm interested in.

If anyone knows of these, please let me know. Or, a site which might specialize in old tapes (1950's) or a place to advertise my request.

Thanks,
Mike Carter

Apparently it has been repeated on some channel or other not too long ago (not yesterday but in the VHS age anyway). I wouldn't mind Tomb of king Taurus myself...

I found three episodes of this list. Quality is more like tales of yesterday. Send me a PM if you still need them?
