Looking For 1924's The Last Man On Earth

PostThu Dec 17, 2015 4:51 am

Does anyone know if it's possible to get a copy of the silent The Last Man On Earth from 1924. It stars Earle Fox and Gladys Tennyson. I've read some reviews of it but haven't been able to find a copy of the movie anywhere.

You can email me at [email protected]

Thanks in advance :-) Liz

MoMA has a print; but (to the best of my knowledge) it has never been bootlegged, and there are no gray market DVDs to be found anywhere.

Cinecon showed it a couple of years ago, so it is available for showings by festivals.

It played at the (very last) Cinefest in Syracuse. It's a silly movie but fun. It ran into quite a bit of censorship trouble in New York. I believe MOMA also has the sound version.
