YouTube "Rheostat"

If not aware (or previously posted)
YouTube has incorporated frame
rate adjustment into its interface.

You can adjust the frame rate of
most videos posted there.
This is of special importance to silent
film fans. Just like the rheostat on those
old, trusty Bell And Howell or GAF projectors
the speed of the films can be adjusted.

I watch most silent films I view on there at
the 1.25 setting;comedies, especially.

The sound speeds up and slows down with the
frame rate but it is still very intelligible.
