An homage to the Ford Falcon (1959-2016)

PostWed Sep 14, 2016 4:55 pm

I have been asked by a friend to try to come up with an homage to the Ford Falcon because in a few weeks, Ford is shutting down its Australian plant and terminate a history of 55 years. So, I reedited a documentary featuring most of the models and manually adding the final one to the compilation. The Falcon was a model that in Argentina remained basically the same up until it was discontinued in 1991 but in Australia it first followed the American redesigns. Once it was dropped in the United States, the Australians exercised autonomy and kept redesigning it up until two years ago. In fact, the Falcon changed were uncredited copied by Ford in the United States for their models (like the Crown Victoria or Grand Marquis) without recognition.

I only added two images from the United States in order to go to its very beginnings and the music of Astor Piazzolla, originally written to be used in Falcon commercials.
