"Friday Night is Music Night" is a programme that has been on the wireless in the U.K. for over 60 years. This week the guest conductor of the Concert Orchestra was Carl Davis who is now 80 - and he presented a repertoire of his favourite music including some of his own compositions, which, as N'ville people will know, include scores to the silents.
