Loved him on Get Smart.

A funny, extremely talented actor. Perfectly cast in When Things were Rotten.

I believe Dick was co-author of ARTISTS AS ACTORS, an incredible book showcasing many actors who are also painters and sculptors.

I agree with boblipton . My favorite episodes of Get Smart involve Gautier as Hymie the Robot. He only appeared in 6 shows.

That's what I find incomprehensible: only six episodes? Then why did he seem to be in every episode of Get Smart I ever watched? ... at least in memory, ahem. And I watched 'em all up to the time 86 and 99 started talking about marriage and babies, which is when I quit on the show. You didn't need to be a nasty little boy to know that that meant the show's writers had run out of ideas and the series was going to go downhill very swiftly.
