PostTue Jul 18, 2017 10:54 pm

Hello folks. The Thunderbean DVD/ Blu-ray "Hollywood Rarities" is finished. We'll be sending out the pre-orders in the next few days, and it will be available on Amazon. Thanks to all for helping make this project happen!

I ordered this two months' ago next week and was wondering what happened to it. My e-mails were unanswered this week but I guess I will see it soon in my Post Office box. I look forward to it. I paid via PayPal direct to Thunderbean. Now I can look at the Abbott & Costello one and another I just found out about of Van Beuren material. I guess I missed the June 15 cut off on that one as I had not seen anything about it.

Can't wait to see this one! My stomping grounds!

Look! You can see a bit of the sign for Hollywood Magic there.

"You can see a bit of the sign for Hollywood Magic there."

I notice in the picture it says "Bert Wheeler Hollywood Magic." Was Bert Wheeler the founder or co-owner? I don't associate him with magic acts. Indeed, I thought he would have returned to the New York stage by that time(I understand Hollywood Magic opened in 1942, closed in 2010).

If I missed your email I 'm sorry about that! I've been flooded with them and trying to respond to all...

We'll be posting the contents in the next day or so.

There's some really cool things.. the last still there is from a series of home movie prints titled 'Hollywood Today' Dennis Atkinson was kind enough to lend these for the set.
