Keaton and Orson Welles

Orson Welles greatly admired Keaton - I doubt they realized they each filmed at the same spot in Venice, California.

SilentEchoes, have you taken a look at Orson Welles's TOO MUCH JOHNSON footage? There are a lot of nice locations from New York City in there, and so you might find it worthwhile to check it out.

Thank you for the Johnson link. I saw this a while back. There are many great historic shots of old New York. I didn't see any obvious overlap with the various locations Harold Lloyd used in Speedy, but this would make a great piece to study someday.
