Definitely can't blame the studios for careful script screenings as if the production did not do well in ticket sales or via an exchange, they had a lot to lose. May be why so many silent films were dumped in the trash if they didn't do well by end of era.

WHY OH WHY DID THEY EVER STOP USING THIS LIST!!

I can think of a few recent titles that all meet at least 3, and 5, 9, 11, and 14...
