You're very welcome. I'm tempted as I'm using mostly cardboard boxes and grocery bags...

DVD storage boxes. I don't have any experience with these, but they have nice reviews
and the price is right: EDIT: There are some very bad reviews too, didn't read those before.

I've been using these storage boxes for years and a very happy with them. Have been buying them here:

I have a couple of the Staples cases, but the Sanp-N-Stores are much better and hold a lot more discs.

Due to the vote in the United Kingdom to leave the EU, there has been a sharp drop in the value of their currency in relation to the US dollar (a 30 year low, they keep saying). This should mean that American purchasers will save money on purchases from sites in "England." Of course it all depends on how quickly currency adjustments are made, and whether the "local" price stays the same.

It probably works badly for "English" purchasers wanting products from America, of course.

So check the prices and conversion rates to see if they are acceptable.

Here is the link on Amazon UK about their currency conversions:

Thanks! Just ordered 4 sets, including a couple I wouldn't normally order, but at these prices, it's worth it! (I'm not crazy about Bauer -- the entire "Mad Love" set put me to sleep repeatedly -- but for $10 I'm willing to take a chance on some more of his stuff.)

For those who have region-switchable blu-ray players, Zaavi in the UK has a 3 for 30 pounds deal that includes a number of Eureka Masters of CInema titles, like Intolerance and Diary of a Lost Girl.

Not sure if the savings makes them cheaper than North American copies or not, but I know some have a preference for MoC versions of some titles.

My first order of the Seiki Bluray player suggested on another thread for being easily region-hackable for both DVDs and BluRays arrived with its brain fried: even the eject button didn't operate. I sent it back with free shipping, since fortunately Amazon has a pretty liberal return policy. The replacement arrived yesterday, but had been crushed at some point. Now I need to return that one too...

Sorry to hear of all the problems with the player. I bought one over a month ago. It is a no frills player, but I have had absolutely no problems playing Region 2 disks, and the set-up for that is fairly easy. When you get it if you need any help with the set-up PM me and I will send the instructions to you.

Rick, any idea whether these are from the same prints as American dvds or are they based on the European 'B' version?

I have no idea. Below is a link to the thread where I first read about it. In the discussion, some give links to other sites talking about it. There is disagreement about the quality… Maybe you can read between the lines better than I can.

www.CamelCamelCamel.com is a good tracker for Amazon prices. Both of those were slightly cheaper in the past but both I'd say are great deals. I'm tempted by that Big Parade. I only own it on VHS.

I also use www.dvdpricesearch.com though it doesn't give you every store but it's a good way to check around.

Criterion Flash Sale?

There are no guarantees that Criterion will have another of their
Flash, 50% off, sales soon, but it's best to be prepared just in case.
They mostly occur on a Tuesday. Here are the past dates from a
