That reminds me: the Keaton talkies set, is it captioned? Kino's PR never mentions captioning, but I think they released the Educational set after they accepted the policy of captioning all talkies.

Just checked my blu-ray of the Educational set, and there are no subtitles/captions. Presumably, the DVD set is the same.

While that's a good sale, note that their shipping costs can be kind of high. They are shipped from the same warehouses as DeepDiscount (which has free shipping) so double check both sites and sometimes DD can be cheaper.

I took advantage of this sale and just received the shipment. I was charged $68.57 total, less than $7 each, including shipping, so there was no further reduction from VAT subtraction. It was touch and go whether I would find ten films I wanted from the selection offered.

And the annoying thing is that next year there will be pretty much the same selection, so it will get even harder to find ten films. I have been there.

:D I didn't know it was a regular sale. I have begun checking them out.

The amazing thing about the packaging/shipping was that anyone along the way could have opened the end flap, taken something out, and tucked the end flap back in… Maybe they checked that out and didn't like old movies!
