Ben had signed up Keith Emerson to do the score, but Fate intervened. I understand he's now dickering with Rick Wakeman.

Thanks, everybody, for the kind words and for the pledges. I've just added a link to the Kickstarter page to the video description. It's also embedded in an annotation at the end of the video.

Any re-posting or tweeting out etc you can do will help connect Marion's fans to the project. Haven't decided on the private-issue disc yet. The KS is only 4 hours old, so give me a little time to figure that out.

I'm in for the autographed copy and the private-issue DVD...can't wait to find out what film that'll be...excitement building! Only $485 left to go, which will probably be taken care of before the day is out, I'd imagine. Thanks Ben!!!

I assume you have the Victor Herbert waltz written for the film, but if you don't, drop me a note and I'll send a scan.

It's from 1922 as well, therefore public domain and you're free to use it (if you find that it fits the film).

I'm in for the disc and bonus disc as well. Great stuff, Ben, keep it coming.

Still another $250 to raise and it's been declared "a project we love" by Kickstarter.

Interesting that this project is likely to go ahead as Warner Archive have just announced two features of Marion Davies from their archives. I will be buying all.

They're obviously piggybacking on the huge Marion Davies groundswell that Ben has revealed.

Ben... looks like Marion Davies is still a big draw. Both Enchantment and The Restless Sex funded in less than a day. Your new project is even MORE impressive in that your project goal is higher than mine were. CONGRATS!!

I think there's one public domain Davies film (complete) in LOC....
