Still four days to help fund this project.

They're counting down the hours until this closes -- 66 at last count. If you want a copy, you've got no more time than that to contribute, and get your own copy.

There's less than a day to go before this crowdfunding effort ends. You're running out of time.

If you were a backer of this project, you'll have already been told the good news.
The target was smashed!

In fact the goal was achieved after just 4 days, and during the following 17 days, a further £1000 was raised. Overwhelming!

So this means we can not only get to work on the main project as stated, but we can also think about embellishing the project with some added goodies too.

I'd also like to send out grateful thanks for the many kind words of encouragement that were received. It all helped to convince us that this project was as important as we dreamed it might be.

So once again, if you backed this project, THANK YOU for your support.
We'll keep you in touch, via Kickstarter, with what's happening, from here until fruition.

Thought I would add this to an existing thread rather than start a new one. A friend of mine purchased a lot of 16mm films and included in the lot was an original Kodascope print of the Lloyd Hamilton short FRAMED (1925). I didn't see this listed in the FIAF database, haven't seen it mentioned here, and no one has reviewed it at IMDB. Could this be a unique print? Has anyone on here seen it elsewhere?

Thanks

Wow. That's great news!
I've not heard of a copy of that one existing before.
Hey, maybe we could squeeze it into our Kickstarter collection!?

I just got the rewards confirmation notice from the project. Looking forward to seeing the dvd by the end of January with luck!

Thanks Bob. Hopefully sooner than that!

I'm just putting the finishing touches to the restorations now.
Here's an example:

All the films are scored and synced and the DVD menus are being created this week.
Then I'll have to stop fiddling with the films any further and wave them goodbye as they fly off to the DVD factory.
Once that's done they'll be flying off to all the wonderful Kickstarter backers.

Incidentally, I've just sent out a 'Kickstarter survey' to request name and address confirmations, so if you're reading this and you're a backer, please respond at your earliest convenience.
Thank you

Dave

Now that most of the backers have received their finished DVD, I thought it would be appropriate to post this video about the making of the disc.

We've had tons of great feedback, so thanks again to all the backers of our project.
Here's to the next one!

Best,
Dave

I haven't had time to watch it, hopefully that will happen this weekend. I did, however, put in the disc to take a quick peek and it looks great! Well done; I can't wait for the next one! Oh, and I enjoyed the "making of" video you posted online. Well done.

Dave, I found out too late to get in on the Kickstarter. Now that everyone has their copies, is there any chance us stragglers will be able to buy a copy at some point?

I'm wondering the same thing.

This is the punishment for a misspent life. However, if a few months, I will be giving away my current accumulation of dvds, and when I announce it, whoever responds first gets it, along with all the cr*p.

OK, we had a wonderfully positive response to the Lloyd Hamilton DVD, not only from those who Kickstarted it but also a great many who had missed the boat.
Well, the dust has now settled and we have a few spare copies left over, so we're making these available on a first come first served basis.
As far as the cost goes, we think it’s appropriate to charge the same amount as the Kickstarter backers pledged.
So therefore…
1) the cost for the DVD in plastic sleeve is £20 (+ £3 for postage to non-UK address)
2) the cost for the DVD in standard DVD case with art work and insert is £25 (+ £5 postage to non-UK address).
If you’d like to order a copy, please send an e-mail to: [email protected]" target="_blank" target="_blank
We’ll then send you the payment details, which will be via Paypal.
If you’d like more information about the contents, there’s a video on You Tube.
Just search ‘Lloyd Hamilton Kickstarter’.
Thanks.
All the best,
The Dave’s (Glass and Wyatt)
