I find it fascinating that Eric Portman is more popular than Robert Donat. But then, he'd made "49th Parallel" in '41 and "One of Our Aircraft is Missing" the year after, and that was only a year back from the poll, and Donat's asthma was keeping him pretty much out of touch, even though he'd won the Best Actor Oscar in '39. Portman is fun to watch in the few Tod Slaughter films he was in, too.
