It's American Thanksgiving today. Before I head up to the Catskills to celebrate with my cousins, I want to let you know that Nitrateville and the people here are among the things I am thankful for.

If no one listens, then it’s just as well. At least I won’t get caught in any lies I tell.

Seconded. It's probably not said enough but our gracious hosts, as well as all the 'villains who post here, have created a wonderful outlet for this particular obsession and I hope all accept my profoundest thanks.

Hope all Yanks (recovering here!), and all Canucks had a good one.

Thank you, Bob, for reminding me of how important Nitrateville is to me, too. A compendium of great knowledge, a pool of exquisite taste and - maybe most important of all - thanks to the moderators an island of decency and respect in the vast ocean that is the internet.
I am truly grateful that it is there. Long may it persist!

Thankful for Nitrateville, thankful for Tom Tyler, thankful for the journey he has brought me on - and I have enjoyed every single minute of it and many more to come.
