Happy 10th Birthday, NitrateVille!

PostFri Dec 15, 2017 10:01 am

Ten years ago today.

Ten years, of mostly civil discussion.

Ten years, of friends from all over the world.

Ten years, of thousands of movies throughout film history.

Ten years, of occasionally watching those movies with those friends in person, all over the world.

Ten years, of friends who've gone before us.

Ten years, that went from simply typing words to producing DVDs and a podcast.

Thanks to all who have been, and are, this friendly community devoted to love of film.

Thanks for for hosting the party.

Looks like a fun party! (Bottles of drink are in the bath) Marthy, a woman of the port, will be there!

Only one? I know a lot of us are too old for the slap'n'tickle anymore, but that still seems a bit too ... sharing.

I haven't been able to post much recently but wanted to add my thanks and kudos. Nitrateville has enriched the lives of many film fans, and I'm sure it will continue to do so well into its further decades.
