Others can chime in, but if it is a 16mm Universal Lantz cartoon or 2 reel comedy from 1929-30, then it is 99% likely it was a Show-At-Home. Universal never sold these to the home movie market later.
Correct. If the edge code shows it's a print before 1940, it's a Show-At-Home. Also, the stock is generally tinted diacetate. Cans will also be marked.
