# 29 - Lost 35mm Nitrate Film FOUND !

PostWed Feb 28, 2018 4:08 am

Very badly long-delay into issuing this # 29 fragment here due to my dull-life backlog of other non-film related activites. But nothing impossible after finally finished this great Scottish filmmaker James Williamson's long lost masterpiece "SUNSHINE AFTER STORM" ( England - 1908 - Silent ) for you to see it at last after being lost for more than 110 years ! Classic discovery item. Many thanks are largely due to Dr. Robert J. Kiss for his searching to find the mysterious film until came up with "S.A.S." ! Too bad, only just 69 ft fragment has survived out of originally 889 feet long which is still lost. It's simply why Williamson's film has featured a safety hoop with name 'WILLIAMSON' and 'HOVE' marked on it. Isn't that wonderful to recognize why it just made by James, bar none. Just see it in 1080p picture presentation.
Beside that, I am asking any viewers to give me a supporting way just by giving me some cents/dollar by donation to my account - https://www.paypal.me/roberthoskin" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank - to help me to gather some more lost fragment(s) for upload to YouTube which it is very expensive to recover it. Thank you.

Neat! That storm sequence is quite entertaining. Very theatrical. Thanks for posting this.

I strongly believes that few remaining fragment rolls still placed somewhere in Great Britain alone but has no chance to recover them. Sorry. :(
