Tweet WARNING: NitrateVille may be off and on in next few days

I received a notice from my hosting company that NitrateVille's software has a script error which was causing server issues. Their way of handling this was to shut it down in the middle of the night and send me a note saying I had 7 days to fix it or upgrade to a much larger server.

My intention is to find new hosting that understands customer service better, and to resolve this issue, but be aware that NitrateVille may go off and on until that happens. The site is backed up and we shouldn't lose anything.

Okay, well now I know I'm going to the new servers because messages I posted earlier today to the old server are not reflected here. Some of you got switched over within an hour or two, evidently; my ISP took more like 8 hours.

So anyway, if you see this, you're at the new servers. I hope nobody posts their magnum opus to the old server.

I just got a notice that suggests that the transfer may not have been completed because I didn't respond to some emails I didn't get. But here we are... so I don't understand what's going on here. However, this is to alert you that we may have another period of down time. I hope not. More info to come.

UPDATE: Aha. Site transferred but the domain account is still at old place, so it only affects when I renew that. So hopefully that means no glitchiness for you (or me as) users.
