At The Moving Picture Ball- Clever song from 1920

:) An amazing fun song from 1920, that references most of the top Stars and Moguls of the day. Obviously written and released before Olive Thomas death that year. I assume that this has been posted before, but I don't recall having seen or heard it here.

This was recorded for Edison in (I think) April 1920. It was issued as a Blue Amberol cylinder but did not appear on a Diamond Disc. Other recorded versions included Billy Murray's on Vocalion 14049 and Joseph C. Smith's instrumental on Victor 35695 (played as part of a medley with "Ching-a-Ling's Jazz Bazaar"). The latter can be heard at http://www.redhotjazz.com/Songs/jcsmith/Chingaling.ram.

Harold,

Thanks for the link, unfortunately, I don't have Real Player installed. Any other similar songs to this one?
