SHELLTOX (1965)

I had to wait for years to be able to see a complete version of this commercial. I was able to get it a few hours ago, but replacing the soundtrack lifting it instead from the original tape.

Re: MAN-WOMAN-MARRIAGE '21 w.Dorothy Phillips on YouTube

I have been trying to do a translation to either English or Spanish, but I have been postponing it because that involves to manually copy the entire text.

I don't care how hard it is to do a translation (I don't understand the language), but I have done it before.

Commercial brakes from August, 1994, recorded in Chile. It is interesting to actually see one commercial from before they changed by country.

Re: TNT (the old TNT) and me

Commercial brakes from October 1994, recorded in Chile, during a presentation of PSYCHO. The channel only had internal promos, many of which feature clips computer colorized versions.

Re: TNT (the old TNT) and me

A Latin American TNT commercial break with internal promos only recorded in Argentina. Since this was a panregional signal, titles constantly switch from Spanish to Portuguese for Brazilian audiences (the signal offered three soundtrack options). This was at the time of Mother's Day. I don't know if...

Re: TNT (the old TNT) and me

I remember its Latin American version, before it switched into a mediocre and unremarkable channel. I saw many MGM and Warners classics there in better presentations than in the Argentine broadcast stations.

Re: Many European-Created Silent Feature Films Now Online Gratis.

The issue is always the task of creating subtitles for these films. Having done that myself, in both Spanish and English, from languages that I don't command I can say I am grateful for these movies to be available online and for free. Some of these films have emerged from either Europe or Argentina...

Re: SELECTIVE SUBTITLING

YouTube did generate Russian subtitles that took me awhile to download. Once I got them, I translated as best as possible since I don't understand the language. Did you try using YouTube's own, built-in auto-translate feature? In my experience the results usually are utterly bizarre word salad, :lo...

Re: THE IRON HORSE (1924) BD coming from Twilight Time (11/20/18)

I remember seeing this one years ago on AMC and enjoying it. I look forward to seeing it again. I procrastinated forever on the Ford at Fox Silent set so with this coming to BD I can't imagine that's worth getting now. The DVD version is mediocre. They removed all of the Karl Malkames tints (who is...

Ford F-350 (1960)

Having seen many Ford commercials that JWT produced around the same time or later in different languages, this one is by far one of the greatest of all times. YouTube did not put a copyright claim, which I actually wanted because I am unable to identify the name of the milonga that it is performed n...
