Tried that three times since the mid-1980s, when this started. As you can guess, it worked only for short periods (6-12 months at best). It did seem that there might be some missing footage but overall, I really enjoyed it.
I did like Isreal's score. I don't think I've seen Meighan before, he reminded me of Gary Cooper a bit.
As for it not being on DVD, what's the hold up Flicker Alley?

All due respect to the fine musicians who play at SFSFF (the music is one if the festival's best features), but I hope in the future the PTB will try to schedule the musicians we don't get to hear on the west coast very often, Thibaudeau being a good example. I'd also love the chance to hear Neil B...
