The George Eastman Museum inherited a warehouse of equipment and papers from Technicolor including a lot of cameras. I don't know if they got anything of the processing equipment.

Re: How do you discover films to watch?

I think here is the best place (the written word) to hear about films and where you can get them. However, if I was just starting out (too late for that!) I wouldn't be buying discs or online screenings -- I'd be saving my money to go to Bologna or Pordenone. Beyond the cultural experience, you can ...

Valeria Creti and Cristina Ruspoli

Dear all, I am researching Filibus and I'm having trouble finding any information (on Italian or English-language sites) on actresses Valeria Creti and Cristina Ruspoli especially of a personal nature -- such as anything before or after their careers or any interviews they may have done. We don't ev...

As noted, Mickey was never in trouble due to trademark. However, I don't see Congress -- even this one -- ext...

Any transfer of a film requires the expertise of an archivist and/or lab technician so color will vary from release to release, and sometimes particular to the time period it was done since some years a "look" has been preferred. (In the 1980s, a lot of things had an orange hue to it.) Technicolor i...
