Mine seems to have arrived late, but got here eventually. It's probably the best issue so far, and for what is essentially a one-man band, it's a very nice publication. I think the chances of it actually being "quarterly" are getting less likely, and I understand costs for overseas postage were somewhat underestimated by him too, which hopefully doesn't leave him out of pocket.

I wonder if the best way forward might be a twice-yearly publication, but longer in length. That way, the same amount of material is being put out, but only two trips to the publishers and two mailings a year instead of four. Much less work, I would imagine. Mr Epting seems to be a busy bee, to say the least, but he's young, enthusiastic and enjoying life - and I don't blame him for that.

Good news, I guess. Charles is now putting together the Winter 2017 issue. I know this because he's using an article of mine about the tempestuous marriage of Henry "Pathe" Lehrman and the volatile Jocelyn Leigh. It's a reworked chapter from my upcoming book on Lehrman, MR. SUICIDE: HENRY "PATHE" LEHRMAN AND THE BIRTH OF SILENT COMEDY, soon to be published by BearManor Media; I delivered the edited manuscript to them yesterday.

It looks like the first volume (1 - 4) will be re-issued together as a hardback.

Has anyone received the Winter 2017 issue #6 yet?
