Third 35mm fragment to ID

Unread post by Silencebound » Sat Apr 14, 2018 4:28 am

This third and final fragment to identify as three German intertitles is included on the somewhat funny turns involded with two pranked kids mucking around inside the music room. It must be a comedy short film or other genre with serious child abusing theme. Cement-splices is placed almost all over the roll as it probably be the 1925's entry but no numerical codes on either side of the 80 ft film. As for those children, you might will not ID them but one stern-looking guy which might be recognized clearly.

The little boy is Malcolm Sebastion and the man is Robert Graves. I don't have any paper on this but judging from the size of Malcolm I'd opine this is a 1927 Educational comedy.

Steve,

Excitement in Bugtussle last night, our bathroom caught on fire. Luckily it didn't reach the house.

Hope to see you in Culpeper in June!

Definitely an Educational Big Boy comedy. Besides Malcolm Sebastion and Robert Graves, the little girl is Lorraine Rivero. She was Sebastion's regular leading lady.
