Bristol UK, 27th-30th July...........all sorts of wonders from the last 100 years or so, but here's a blogpost on the Silent Film content of the festival. Hope to see some of you there !!!

Interesting program and I would attend if I lived a bit closer than the east coast USA. But what's with calling KING KONG (1933) "a low rent horror film?" It was a fairly expensive production and the money shows on the screen. Seems like a backhanded way of praising it - even tho it was a cheapo it became a classic. Come on, guys.
