The North Carolina premiere of the restored King of Jazz (1930) will be at the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh on Friday, April 21st at 8 pm. Details and tickets at the museum website.
Introducing the film will be David Pierce, co-author of the 2016 book King of Jazz: Paul Whiteman's Hollywood Revue, and Don Rayno, author of a two-volume Whiteman biography/discography. Following the film will be a Q&A and book signing.
David Pierce is a Raleigh native, while Don Rayno lives in nearby Cary.
