3 Podcast Chats with possible spoilers'Sorry to Bother You' and chat with its Chicago-native director
A new [film] directed by a Chicago native is getting national hype — and you can catch a screening with its creator this week.
On July 5 at AMC River East 21 (322 E. Illinois St.), catch “Sorry to Bother You” followed by a Q&A with writer-director and Chicagoan Boots Riley.
“Sorry to Bother You” stars Lakeith Stansfield (of “Get Out,” “Atlanta” and Twitter fame) with performances by David Cross, Tessa Thompson, Terry Crews, Armie Hammer, Steven Yeun and more [in] the star-studded cast.
It’s the first feature length film by Riley, who is also the lead vocalist of the Coup and Street Sweeper Social Club.
Tickets for the 9:30 p.m. screening are $12.19.
