Lots of silent & 30's/40's VHS (Los Angeles area only)

Unread post by fwtep » Fri Aug 15, 2008 10:19 am

I'm cleaning out my garage and am getting rid of my VHS tapes. I have a ton of good things, like Chaplin, Keaton, Lloyd, Griffith, etc. Also a bunch of the Thames/Brownlow releases, such as The Wind, The Big Parade, The Crowd, etc. Besides silents I have a lot of 30's and 40's stuff, mostly comedies (Marx, Sturges, Capra, etc.). There are also some things I taped off the air from Turner Classics, AMC (back when it WAS AMC) and PBS, some of which I don't think are available on DVD.

I'm giving these away for FREE, but I don't have the time to inspect each one (they've been in boxes in the garage for several years), nor do I have the time to mail them out. If someone lives in the Los Angeles area and is interested in taking them, please let me know. You could then pick the ones you want and give the rest away (or sell them; whatever).

If you're interested, let me know at: fwtep at hotmail dot com.

PS: The collection also includes Burns' "The Civil War" box set unopened. (Some other titles are unopened too.)
