1928 Stokowski "Romeo and Juliet" Overture Phil Orchestra

Unread post by bobfells » Sun Jan 29, 2017 5:48 pm

Leopold Stokowski conducts the Philadelphia Orchestra in Tchaikovsky's classic overture-fantasy, ROMEO AND JULIET. Recorded September 26-27, 1928 at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia. I digitized directly from original 12-inch 78 rpm discs and applied audio restoration software but with no added reverb or artificial ambiance.
