Unread post by Aaron1927 » Mon Mar 20, 2017 9:08 pm

British radio and wartime star Dame Vera Lynn is 100 years old today!!! Vera sang in the 1920's and 1930's and became a popular dance band singer and would later become known as the forces' sweetheart during the war, singing and bringing comfort and hope to millions overseas and at home.

Happy Birthday Vera :D

She is all over British TV news this week and looks to be in great shape! She is an international treasure! There's even a new album of her recordings that is expected to make the charts! Howzat for 100!
