PAUL WHITEMAN: 1927 "When Day is Done" in Restored Sound

Paul Whiteman (1890-1967) experimented with many forms of music including one that fused together classical elements with jazz themes. He called this "symphonic jazz." Perhaps the best known example is Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" but "When Day is Done" is a very close second.
