THE VIRGIN QUEEN (1955) music question

The trailer for this Fox Cinemascope picture re-uses music from Alfred Newman's fine 1939 score to THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME (which was an RKO release!)

Why...and how?

Especially as the actual movie was scored by Franz Waxman.....
"Korngold has so much talent he could give half away and still have enough left for himself..." Giacomo Puccini (1921)
