Glenn Miller "In the Mood" - Bass Cover by yours truly

Unread post by Metaldams » Sun Feb 11, 2018 7:57 pm

Forgive my indulgence. I make a lot of bass videos on YouTube, the majority of them hard rock and metal (lots of KISS and Judas Priest especially), a few classic rock things thrown in, but I do one jazz cover from the era this board covers. "In the Mood" was my grandmother's favorite song. She passed away a little over ten years ago and was actually a high school classmate of Carl Reiner. You know the way some parents thought rock music was junk? Well, my great grandfather, a professional oboe player, thought Glenn Miller was junk and told my grandmother to turn the radio off when this was on, he being a classical musician. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy, please let me know what you think.

PS: If you look closely, you'll notice the Douglas Fairbanks DVD set in the background.

Silentfilm, how did you embed that link? I used the YouTube button, pasted the link in between, and nothing popped up. I post at another website that has a similar function and never had any issues there. Just wondering what I may have done wrong.

Anyway, thanks for fixing it.

If you click "Edit" you can see that I enclosed it in the "youtube" markers and removed the "s" from https. I also removed some extra parameters concerning the YouTube app.
