The following review is the first I've heard of a new Errol Flynn biopic coming out in Australia soon, and mainly covering Flynn's pre-Hollywood years in Sydney, New Guinea and elsewhere - roughly the same period Flynn himself covers (in highly romanticised form) in Beam Ends.
It sounds like it takes a healthy dose of scepticism towards its subject, which is warranted. I've done a fair amount of research on this period in Flynn's life myself, and ... dare I say he couldn't lie straight in bed?
