I fell in love with her in her very first feature, a CBC TV film called Does Anybody Here Know Denny? in which she played, ironically, a girl who has a mental breakdown. Sad foreshadowing. Her next film was The Best Damn Fiddler From Calabogie to Kaladar, which with further irony referred to part of the route I drive between Ottawa and Toronto, though I've never met any fiddlers on it.

Her sister was featured recently in an article about her involvement with people with disabilities. She usually started off her presentations by saying something along the lines of, "Yes, my sister is Lois Lane!"

Plus, she was born in Yellowknife. Always a plus in my book.

She had a really likable beauty, nothing plastic or robotic about it.

With all the other bad news this morning, I was very surprised to see this story just pass as a line on the crawler on the breakfast TV news and on one channel only.

Margot seems to have been unlucky to die while media attention was elsewhere, on other slow days the death of Lois Lane would be a lead.

To me, she has always been Superman's darling, (character) not too sexy or annoying, just perfect for him.
In other films I have seen her in, she exudes a very likable person, one might fall in love, or be a close friend with.

Not easy for who grow up watching Superman on TV.

Keep thinking...
