Isabelle Rea

Unread post by ellenl » Tue Jun 27, 2017 7:59 am

There was an Isabelle Rea from Coxsackie NY who married a Leon Copleston. Before her marriage she attended Syracuse University. She is buried in Riverside Cenetery, Coxsackie NY. This may be the Isabelle Rea who acted along side Mary Pickford and others in the silent film era. The timeline that is cited in conjunction with her name fits. However, I don't know how one would confirm this information. Her first name appears variously as "Isabel" or "Isabella" and her last name sometimes appears as "Rae."

Did she have a daughter named Peggy Rea who was secretary to one of Filmdoms moguls in the 1940s and went on to play characters roles on shows from I Love Lucy to The Waltons?

I do not believe so. I believe she lived in upstate NY her entire life.
