ID on silent clip?

Here's the clip from The Picture Show Man (1977). The poster of the wagon advertises Nevada (1927) but they talk about Tom Mix.

This is Tom Mix, and it looks like parts with Tony pulling the rope are from NO MAN'S GOLD which showed at SFSFF, because Tom sneaks into an abandoned mine building that looks like this which eventually explodes, but the woman is Jane Novak in that and she's dressed differently and with blonde hair.

Despite any errors that might be in the film, I love this movie and the other Australian film, Newsfront(1978), a salute to the old newsreel cameramen, two of whom I knew and now long gone. That film I saw at a downtown special preview in 1978 with tickets sent by the now defunct recording company of old, EMI Records Australia. EMI had a soundtrack LP from the film and it had some original EMI-owned songs on the soundtrack. I sold their records in my shop. Neither The Picture Show Man or Newsfront have surfaced on Blu Ray yet but I am hopeful.

There was an active real picture show man in South Australia many years ago. Cliff Howe was also a collector and sent me a lot of newspaper clippings in the 1970s when I ran a film importing business and told me to keep them. Some on this site might remember his clippings in The Classic Film Collector(today Classic Images). He sent Sam Rubin, the owner and editor for many years of that paper, many clippings and Sam used to use them to fill gaps in the magazine.
