If you mean there’s something odd about the arm that’s nominally in the sling, yeah, I see it too. But I think you’re reading seeing something that a contemporary looking at the poster would not have seen, and likely the artist was simply incompetent or had his work butchered by someone else later in production.

It wasn't the sling I was looking at, but I would say the artist was working with facsimile.
