Self-Guided Keaton Studio Walking Tour

Unread post by SilentEchoes57 » Sat Jul 07, 2018 9:47 am

Here's an illustrated 20-page PDF walking tour of the former Keaton Studio site at Lillian Way and Eleanor in Hollywood, prepared in honor of the new studio plaque that was dedicated last month.

You can download an updated color illustrated Hollywood walking tour, where Keaton made eight different movies, here

and if you're a glutton for punishment, can watch a neatly edited YouTube video of one of the studio tours here

John,

Can't thank you enough for this.

(You know me as Eleanor's friend, George).

I only wish I had this the first time I visited the site of Keaton's studio six or seven years ago. It required a lot of imagination to conjure up what once was there and, and the wrong placement of the studio plaque (now rectified) didn't help matters. Excellent resource. Impressive as usual, John!

Maybe a Cinecon extra-curricular activity?

It's well worth doing. Plus, Paramount, the former RKO studios and Hollywood Forever are within walking distance.
