Flicker Alley is having a sale on its MOD titles, just use the code FLICKER15 for 15% off (and the prices are already discounted from normal retail).

Just ordered The Lost World, Victory/Wicked Darling and Destiny.

Hamilton Books has a nice sale on the Keaton Shorts Blu-Ray.

Also, according to an email I got Oldies is having a Grapevine Sale. The prices are mixed but worth browsing I guess.

WowHD have a bunch of Grapevine videos for around £5-8 including postage. Mostly post-silent films, but there are some silents in there as well.

Er… that's the same product/price. The Sheik's been reduced, Son of the Sheik hasn't.

Flicker Alley has a special pre-order for the new blu-ray of The Lost World: preorder now and get it for 25% off, plus free shipping (incl. Canada).

24-hour free shipping offer expires by 11 a.m., PT, on June 1.

Copies will ship around September 12.

Does anyone wanna buy the Flicker Alley DVD-R MOD version of The Lost World which I bought only days before they announced the new blu-ray edition? (My timing really sucks sometimes.)

Deals and Bargains

Might as well start a thread for markdowns of silent film videos...

Here's a great deal. Kino's Keaton Shorts blu-ray for $7.95. With shipping it comes out to $11

Kino Lorber has just started a very nice sale. From their Facebook posting:

Kino Lorber Studio Classics has a brand new website! Check it out: klstudioclassics.com
To celebrate, we're having our biggest sale ever... 401 titles! DVDs as low as $5.98! Blu-rays from $7.98! Free shipping in USA (orders $50+) and Canada (orders $100+). Sale ends Sunday 8/6 so don't miss out.

Mostly talkies. However the sale does include The Sheik, The Son Of The Sheik, and Zaza. They are $7.98 for the DVDs and $11.98 for the Blu-rays.

Just saw that and came to post about it!

I'll be buying a lot from it, though only a few silents. Beggars of Life is either on sale or just a good preorder price. 3 Bad Men is also included in the sale and I highly recommend that disc even if it's pretty darn bare bones.
