Wow, this is really cool.

So, I see that I missed a bunch of earlier releases. Are those impossible to get now or is there some sort of retail release for them?

Just a reminder that you've only got a week left to get in on this Kickstarter program. It's made its funding easily -- $3,700 pledged with just three thousand needed to do it; Ed has the film and Ben Model is doing the music. Pledge your money now lest you forget to do it later.

24 hours to go before you lose the honest right to say "Someone should come up with money to make old films available," because you have the ability to be that someone right now.

Ed, Ive seen some people ask but havent seen any conclusive answers. I backed your latest project but unfortunately missed the first few kickstarters such as Enchantment, Ducks & Drakes etc. Can we purchase these directly from you after the fact? would be willing to pay the original kickstarter backing fee. let me know, thanks, and awesome job!

Video files are with the diskmaker after 2 days of uploading files in "bizarre" formats (H.264 ?) and power outages. I uploaded a B&W and a "tinted" version, each taking 2 hours or more. I think it's finally done and should have finished disks by end of next week.

I work as an editor at the Dallas Fox station and I download promos for shows in H.264 all the time. It's one of the faster formats to download. Pretty compressed I think.

My copy arrived in today's mail and I immediately watched the first few minutes of both the b/w and tinted versions. Great image quality and of course Ben Model does his usual superb work with the music accompaniment. A very professional presentation every way you look at it including packaging. Thank you Ed and a special thank you for giving us the option of b/w or tinted. Lots of work went into this and it shows. Well done, sir!

It's too late to look at it tonight -- had a nice dinner with an old friend including a glass of Sangiovese. I hope this Ben Model kid you got to do the score is ok.

Got mine in the mail yesterday. From the packaging to the music to the fact that you can select to watch either the B&W version or the Tinted version, it is quite a professional job. Very nicely done Ed. Thank you for all of your efforts...the time and attention shows.

The story itself was enjoyable, and happy that I had the opportunity to see it.

Thanks, Matthew.... The cover is always a problem. They either print it small and trim it correctly, or they print it correctly and trim it small..... or both.... I'll have to find another option for next project, but I'm not printing and trimming 100+ covers. For this round, the first print for the cover came back SQUARE!......

I finally got around to watching this DVD this weekend. Ben Model's score is superb. The print looks great and Ed made it available in amber tinted and black and white versions.

Marion Davies' performance makes this film. Without her charming personality, this story would fall flat. The sets and scenery are beautiful too. While the story has a nice surprise at the end, it didn't really do much for me. Wyndham Standing was OK, but didn't show much personality. I thought the film was pretty average overall.

Glad you enjoyed the score. Got an advance bash at it by getting to play for it at Mostly Lost 5 a few weeks before recording.
