I wonder how this compares to the average sales of a normal Grapevine release. I mean, I know the fandom is small but we are dedicated.

My Kickstarter copy of The Perfect Gentleman just turned up and I plan on watching it and the shorts tonight. If you didn't contribute, Grapevine has it for sale.

Enjoyed watching this over the weekend - many thanks to Grapevine. Hope to see many more Kickstarters in the future.

No one wanting to start another crowdfunding to release the complete PLAY SAFE which is at the LOC?
I'll surely participate. Maybe some more rare Monty Banks short there could be added.
It would be nice to finally have on DVD or Blu-Ray the complete feature, as we've seen the last two reels so many times.

Maybe Ben Model would like to do it, as he already presented a Banks feature on Undercrank, Flying Luck.

Ben?

Surprised Grapevine didn't have a screen thanking the Kickstarter donors.

Yes, I do like seeing my illustrious name up there among the many other stars of silent film support. It's a mild satisfaction, not an ego-trip!

I emailed Grapevine prior to the release of their latest Monty Banks DVD to discuss adding the one reel (half of the comedy) of the lost Monty Banks comedy Peaceful Alley 1921 that I have on nitrate and i had previously transfered to hard drive, but no reply. It would have been a good addition to the DVD which I have via kickstarter. Oh well.
