For those of you who like I are enamoured of the appearances by James Robertson Justice in pictures, then you may enjoy this interview he gave for the BBC Television back about 1961. (His appearance comes at about 13.48) He is a frightfully interesting fellow and I was amazed he said he had to tone down his characterisations on the screen.

Thank you so much for posting this! What a wonderful actor he was, and such superb comic timing. It was a real joy watching his interview and hearing that remarkable voice again. Nice too to see that clip from Doctor in Clover with Sir Lancelot Pratt, one of his funniest characters. And Arthur Haynes! "Rectum?" "Well, it didn't do them much good." British comedy at its finest!
