It's been out for a week and a half, but the Pioneers: First Women Filmmakers set got its start two years ago here among other places, so it surely deserves a full month of its own as well as a full podcast episode, which it got here.

On our holiday tree are Alice Guy-Blache, Dorothy Davenport (aka Mrs. Wallace Reid) and Frances Marion, all of whom have films on the set; we've already honored on our masthead two of the other women filmmakers on the set, Lois Weber and Mabel Normand.

I pleased to have contributed, but given that it's been out for as long as you say, I'd like my copy now, please!

Bob, they had a problem with duplication and they now have the new discs in hand, should send them out shortly.

All of a sudden today, my NitrateVille masthead disappeared -- something which has never happened before. The Women Filmmakers are gone -- it's just a blank expanse of grey, up there.

Is anyone else having this experience, or is it just me?

Sometimes you just get the wrong thing stuck in memory and you can't get it replaced by the right thing. Search for how to do a forced refresh on your browser.
