Can't post pictures

Unread post by Richard Finegan » Mon Jun 24, 2013 9:17 pm

Why is it that for the past several months when I try to post an image this message comes up?:
"Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."

Read this:

“I'm in favor of plagiarism. If we are to create a new Renaissance, the government should encourage plagiarism. When convinced that someone is a true plagiarist, we should immediately award them the Legion of Honor.” —Jean Renoir

Perhaps you should consider deleting images from all posts from a year or so back that have long been seen by anyone interested. Wouldn't that make room for newer more topical posts? (I get the same error message constantly that "the board has reached its quota.")

Yeah, that's a lot of work and a lot of judgement calls that are sure to anger a lot of people.

For a feature I didn't even mean for us to have...

Flickr. Free account. Easy instructions.

Another option is Photobucket. I've used them for 5 years with no problem.
It takes an extra step or two, but you avoid problems like Rich is having.

Here's a second vote for PhotoBucket. There are many free alternatives for us. Just create an account at one of the other services, load the photos there, copy the link to the photo, and post the link here.

As I said in the other thread, http://tinypic.com is another option, and one you don't need to sign up for to use.
